Founded in 2020, TLC began with a simple idea and a strong work ethic. During the uncertainty of the COVID-19 pandemic, Andy Thrush and his two sons, Isaac and Eli, were discussing ways to stay productive while school was on hold. The company name and business concept came from Andy’s sister, Kimberly, and with little more than a lawn mower, determination, and a commitment to quality service, the three set out to serve their local neighborhood.

As word spread about TLC’s reliability, professionalism, and attention to detail, demand for their services quickly grew. What started as a family operation has evolved into a thriving landscape company with six full-time employees, four trucks, two trailers, and a full fleet of professional-grade equipment capable of handling projects of all sizes.

Today, TLC proudly serves homeowners and businesses throughout Pierce County and into southern King County. The company specializes in Landscape Maintenance, Landscape Design, and Landscape Construction, offering comprehensive outdoor solutions that enhance the beauty, functionality, and value of every property. Whether it's routine landscape care, custom landscape and hardscape design, or complete outdoor transformations, TLC remains committed to delivering exceptional craftsmanship, dependable service, and lasting results for every client.

TLC would not be where it is today without Alicia. Organization is her superpower, and she serves as the backbone of the company's day-to-day operations. With more than 15 years of experience as a professional organizer through her business, Ace of Order (www.AceofOrder.com), Alicia has helped both residential and commercial clients create systems that bring order, efficiency, and peace of mind to their lives and businesses.

At TLC, Alicia applies that same expertise behind the scenes, developing and managing the systems that keep the company running smoothly. From administrative operations and process development to human resources and team support, she ensures that every detail is handled with precision and care. Her ability to create structure, improve workflows, and keep everyone organized allows the field teams to focus on delivering exceptional service to TLC's clients.

Landscape Designer & Hardscape Specialist

Jared is TLC’s Landscape and Hardscape Design Lead, specializing in the planning, design, and execution of custom outdoor living environments. With extensive expertise in both landscape and hardscape design, he creates cohesive outdoor spaces that combine beauty, functionality, and long-term durability. His design approach focuses on seamlessly integrating structural elements with natural landscapes to maximize the usability, value, and visual appeal of every property.

Jared’s hardscape expertise includes the design of patios, walkways, retaining walls, outdoor kitchens, fire features, seating areas, pool surrounds, and other custom outdoor living spaces. He understands how to balance materials, grades, drainage, and site conditions to ensure every hardscape installation is both aesthetically striking and structurally sound.

In addition to hardscape design, Jared develops comprehensive landscape plans that incorporate thoughtful plant selection, landscape lighting, grading, drainage solutions, and seasonal interest. By combining technical knowledge with creative vision, he helps homeowners transform underutilized outdoor areas into inviting spaces for entertaining, relaxation, and everyday living.

Known for his attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and commitment to quality, Jared serves as a trusted advisor throughout the design process, guiding clients from initial concept through final installation to deliver exceptional outdoor environments that stand the test of time.

Commercial Maintenance Division

Jon leads TLC's Commercial Landscape Maintenance Division, specializing in the ongoing care, enhancement, and stewardship of commercial properties. At the heart of his leadership is a commitment to servant leadership supporting his team, removing obstacles, and ensuring every crew member has the tools, training, and encouragement needed to succeed.
